Just last weekend, Serena received her second Diamond encrusted Tennis Ball by winning (along w/ Mardy Fish) the Hopman Cup Final. Now, Top-ranked Justine Henin and Australian Open champion Serena Williams will top the draw for next month's WTA Diamond Games tournament. Diamonds are truly this girl's best friend.

Something about Serena and "Diamonds"
Just last weekend, Serena received her second Diamond encrusted Tennis Ball by winning (along w/ Mardy Fish) the Hopman Cup Final. Now, Top-ranked Justine Henin and Australian Open champion Serena Williams will top the draw for next month's WTA Diamond Games tournament. Diamonds are truly this girl's best friend.
I have followed the draw on the AO radio...

henin - sharapova
S. Williams - Jankovic
Venus williams - Ivanovic
Kuznetsova - Chakvetadze
Which means Venus has a relatively easy road to the finals, though her record against Kuznetsova isn't that good (most of those matches wete on clay) so shell be fine
As far as Serena...Jankovic should be easy and then Sharapova or (probably) in het semis. I think with the three hopman cup matches and the five matches she has under her belt then at the AO she should win from both of them..!
