Team USA has won the Hopman Cup by defeating Team Serbia (Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic) in the Mixed Doubles Match 7-6, 6-2. Mardy lost a very intense and tightly contested Men's Singles match against Novak Djokovic which made the Mixed Doubles match the deciding tie. Team USA won the tie 2-1.
