It's a win for Hlavackova/Hradecka (CZE/CZE) (via walkover) because the Williams Sisters withdrew from the doubles competition (due to Serena's left ankle injury). Venus is set to play Dinara Safina in tomorrow's quarterfinals. It is hard to believe that this will be their FIRST time playing each other. This should be an awesome match! Go Venus (and get well Serena)!

Williams Sisters withdraw from Stuttgart Doubles
It's a win for Hlavackova/Hradecka (CZE/CZE) (via walkover) because the Williams Sisters withdrew from the doubles competition (due to Serena's left ankle injury). Venus is set to play Dinara Safina in tomorrow's quarterfinals. It is hard to believe that this will be their FIRST time playing each other. This should be an awesome match!
